For those of you who are new, or possibly don't recognize me due to my fabulous new look, I'm Miss Lindsey Kain, your caretaker! We'll be starting off this term with a challenge our flying instructor favors, True or False!
The rules are simple. Below, there will be 10 statements listed. You need to determine whether they are true or false. You do not need to correct the statement--only determine whether it is true or false.
All answers should be sMailed to Mary.
Each correct answer will earn 1 point for a maximum of 10 House Points.
Now for the statements:
- Molly Weasley's maiden name is Preston.
- The Hand of Glory is a device that gives light to only the holder.
- The acronym S.P.E.W. stands for Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare.
- Bundimun is a magical creature that is a greenish fungus with eyes.
- Legilimency is a defensive counter to Occlumency.
- The animal device of the Ravenclaw crest is a raven.
- Fifteen (15) Muggles were killed in the curse that was caused by Peter Pettigrew to fake his death.
- The name of the Apparition instructor in Harry's sixth year was Wilkie Twycross.
- There are wizarding academies located in Japan, Africa, Brazil, France, Northern Europe, and North America.
- Sirius Black was born in December.
